Day 01 – Colombo

“Ayubowan” On arrival at the recently refurbished Modern and State of the art International Airport, you will be blessed to get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality; Representative from Island Leisure Lanka , will welcome you at the Airport & receive to Negombo
– a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmiths quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square.
Overnight stay – Colombo

Day 02 – Colombo - bentota

After Breakfast leave for Bentota and check in to the hotel , you are going to stay at the world famous greatest architectures Geoffrey Bawas ‘s residence

Day 03 – Bentota

After Breakfast at the hotel and full day at leisure
In the evening visit the Breef garden the nature garden of Bevis Bawa ( Geoffrey Bawas Brother)

Day 04 – Bentota - Galle

After Breakfast leave for Galle , check in to the Hotel
Evening visit the Galle City and the fort – Galle – Sri Lanka’s 04th biggest town is 115 km south of Colombo and close to Hikkaduwa. Galle is a town rich in history and in fact, was the centre of Dutch rule in the 17th century. The majestic Galle Fort bears ample testimony to that fact. The City of Galle is one of the best-preserved colonial-era cities in Southeast Asia, and has been declared a World Heritage City. Galle was a major port in Sri Lanka and still handles shipping and cruising yachts. The Dutch Museum, Groote Kerk (Great Church) and the National Maritime Museum are some of the famous tourist attractions in Galle. The city is also famous for its delicate handmade lace and ebony carvings. The Galle International Cricket Stadium
has also contributed to enhance the image of the city as a sports destination since of late.

Day 05 – Galle - Yala

After Breakfast proceeds Yala
Check in to the Yala Hotel and evening Jeep Safari at Yala national Park ( the safari can be done in the morning as well ) Also known as Ruhuna is an important national park on the south east coast of Sri Lanka. The reserve covers 979 km², although only the original 141 km² are open to the public. Much of the reserve is parkland, but it also contains jungle, beaches, freshwater lakes and rivers and scrubland.
The latter zone is punctuated with enormous rocky outcrops. The range of habitats gives rise to a good range of wildlife.
Yala has the world’s highest concentration of Leopards, although seeing this largely nocturnal carnivore still requires some luck. There are good numbers of Asian Elephants, crocodile, Wild Boar, Water Buffalo and Grey langurs amongst other large animals. The open parkland attracts birds of prey such as White-bellied Sea Eagle and the wetlands have waders, Painted Storks, and the rare Black-necked Stork.
Landbirds of course are in abundance, and include Sirkeer Malkoha, Indian Peafowl and Sri Lanka Jungle fowl.

Day 06 – Yala - kalawana

After Breakfast proceeds Kalawana the area for the biggest rain forest in sri lanka and one the world heritage sight the singharaja Forest

Day 08 – Kalawana - Ratnapura - Negombo

After scrumptious Breakfast with Variety Proceed to Negombo en route visit
Ratnapura the “City of Gems” bordering the hill country is world renowned for precious stones. These precious stones are dug up by hand from gem mines located in the hills and fields around Ratnapura namely Sapphires, Rubies, Moonstones, and semiprecious stones such as Beryl, Zircon, Garnet, Amethyst and Quartz. The Ratnapura town has an excellent view of the Adam’s Peak on the eastern horizon, and is surrounded by forested hills. The Gemological and National Museum located in Getangama on the outskirts of the Ratnapura town offers a wide range of gems for sale, and you can also view the operation of the raw stones being cut and polished.
Check in to the hotel in Negombo – Negombo – a famous fishing village North of Colombo, with a Dutch built Canal. The canal itself is a hive of activity with fishermen traveling up and down in their gaily-painted boats. On the shores of the canal you will find many homes and churches and many species of birds including spectacular Kingfishers. Catamaran trips in the sea and boat trips in canal can be organized. Diving facilities are available in this quaint village. The streets on either side of the Hotels are dotted with Souvenir Shops, Restaurants etc.
